StuDay 2026: kick off the academic year with a bang!
It’s that time of year again at the end of September. That’s when we’ll bid farewell to summer and transform ourselves into an ‘academic weapon’ together. Luckily, not before we’ve had a right good time with STAN at the ultimate welcome festival for you, the Antwerp student: StuDay. We know, it’s still early days, but you really don’t want to miss this party! So make sure you mark Thursday 24 September in your diary. The party kicks off at 1.30 pm at Spoor Oost with a line-up to die for.
Who’s performing is still a secret for now, but we can already tell you that there’s more to it than just music. With four zones once again, there’s something for everyone. Read on and discover your favourite zone.
In the Discover zone, we’ll show you the ins and outs of the city with new hotspots, useful tips and unmissable student deals. In this zone, you’ll also find a stage featuring young, (un)known musical talent. They’ll be playing bangers that’ll set your heart racing. Who knows, you might just discover the next Pommelien Thijs here? It’ll be Erop of eronder ;).
Are you a sore loser, or do you always just manage to win (in a slightly dodgy way) at Monopoly? Take a Risk in the Play zone, where all sports and games enthusiasts can let their ‘healthy’ competitive spirit run wild. Challenge your friends or take part in the Club Challenge with your society!
There’s no shortage of music at StuDay. You’ll find the biggest names, of course, in the Dance zone. Dance the study stress out of your system (a bit early) and let loose to the beats of established acts and Antwerp’s up-and-coming DJ talent.
Feeling a bit worn out from dancing? In the Recharge zone, you can unwind and recharge your (social) batteries. Relax, connect with (new) friends, strike your favourite yoga pose or simply do absolutely nothing. Chill vibes are still the best vibes in this mini-oasis.
Free, free of charge and sustainable?
There’s no need to skip any interesting introductory lessons on Thursday 24 September, your school is giving you a lesson-free afternoon. So there are no excuses not to come to StuDay!
Even if you’ve spent too much on travel and festivals this summer, you’ve got no excuse. A StuDay ticket is free. All you need to do is claim your ticket at www.studay.be.
Not sure how to get to Spoor Oost? The venue is easily accessible from your hall of residence, campus or the station by bike, A-Velo and public transport. Convenient and sustainable! We’re also committed to making this a green festival, for example by using reusable cups.

Ordered a few too many beers on the Costa del Sol? At StuDay, you can earn a bit of extra cash. STAN has room for no fewer than 220 enthusiastic students to join the street and/or events team.
